In The News - Cheating Wives Club

January 3rd, 2009 by The Babe

This is an old news article but I thought you might find it interesting…..

The Seattle Times Inbox Column
Online “Cheating Wives Club
By Charles Bermant, The Seattle Times Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News

Nov. 30 - A few months ago while wading through a ton of unsolicited messages, one caught my eye: It turned out that several women in my neighborhood were lonely and neglected by their husbands, and had joined an online “cheating wives club.”

In an effort to end their unfulfilment, they were using the power of the Internet to find love. This made me exceedingly curious about whom it might be, as all my neighbors seemed to have happy marriages.

Could it be that Mrs. Nelson isn’t exactly a happy homemaker, or Mrs. Bunker is on the prowl? Maybe that cute blonde Mrs. Keaton is a tigress at heart.

I didn’t click that particular link for a number of reasons. In the first place, there is my own marriage to consider. My wife seems to have lost the spirit of adventure and drew the line when I wanted to get a fifth dog.

And I’m not sure she always told the truth when we were dating. When she said she liked “classical music,” I thought she meant early Beatles. Still, things don’t always work out as promised, so you need to adapt. Besides, cheating on your spouse is one of those bad decisions you can’t un-make.

Then, we have the dumb criminal factor. That is, if you were going to cheat on your spouse, why would you use the Internet to make it happen? This advice follows the same slimy morality advice that it’s OK to lie, but don’t put it in an e-mail.

There are two reasons to not behave badly: because it is wrong and because you can get caught. People who use the Internet to line up assignations obviously don’t care about either.

Which leads to the main flaw of this “service.” If a woman is so inclined to cheat on her husband, presumably behind his back, why would she go online in order to advertise this? I realize that every relationship looks different from the outside, but I don’t know many guys who could survive the embarrassment and insult of a wife who advertised online to find a cheat partner.

So, like any husband who doesn’t want to devastate his wife, shatter his family or turn his own life upside down, I ignored the message. Or did I? A few weeks later I received a notice that read simply, “Dear Online Cheating Wife User. (3) ladies have responded to you for your date. You can begin your date with any of these (3) individuals by clicking below. Have Fun!”

This is where it crossed the line from irritation to malice. Any technically unsophisticated wife who read this message in her husband’s e-mail might trust him a little less, even though he had done nothing wrong.Since that kind of trust isn’t an issue in our home, I clicked on the link; out of curiosity. Here’s the place where I would find my own wife and we’d have a hot date, if life were like “The Pina Colada Song.”

Instead there is an unhappier ending. These links lead to unrepentant porn sites, pictures of women who disrobe for a dollar. Another e-mail trap, from people who are out to take your money and appeal to the worst in you. There ought to be a law.

Talk Show Tricks Cheating Husband Into Confessing

October 7th, 2008 by The Babe

This has to be one of the funniest youtube clips on the perils of cheating on your spouse.

A Indian bride calls into a local radio station to complain that she believes her husband  is cheating….

After the station calls the cheating husband and tricks him into confessing to an extramarital affair (the wife is listening), all hell breaks loose on the radio.

Funny - Very funny

Private Eye Unwittingly Films Murder

June 4th, 2008 by The Babe

The Moscow Times - Jun 01 5:12 PM

A private eye hired by a husband worried that his wife was cheating on him inadvertently captured a contract hit on videotape — helping police to apprehend the suspected killers.

The husband, a businessman who lives on Kashirskoye Shosse near the Kashirskaya metro station in southern Moscow, left for a business trip on Jan. 26 and hired the detective to watch his apartment to see if his wife would bring home a lover, city police spokeswoman Natalya Maltseva said. She declined to name the businessman, the wife or the detective.

The detective set up a video camera in his car near the apartment building and watched the wife’s comings and goings for two days, Maltseva said. She always returned home alone. Then at about 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 29, Vladimir Zheleznov, a car parts dealer, drove into the courtyard, followed by a second car, Maltseva said.

As Zheleznov got out of his car, a man emerged from the other car, pulled out a Lueger pistol and emptied the chamber into Zheleznov, killing him on the spot.

It was unclear if the private detective was in his car at the time, but his video camera captured the murder on tape, Maltseva said. “You can’t see faces on the video, but you can see the cars and how the murder happened,” she said. “Investigators used the tape to piece together the course of events and check them against other witnesses’ accounts.”

The investigation went on for five months before the suspected gunman, Andrei Migachyov, 27, was arrested in Kaluga on May 14 and brought to Moscow. Migachyov led investigators to a suspected accomplice, Dmitry Agoshkov, 31, and the man who may have ordered the killing, Sergei Odintsov, 31, who were subsequently arrested. A fourth suspect, Vladimir Shevlyakov, 41, is still at large and is believed to have organized the killing, Maltseva said.

All four men have been charged with organizing a murder and could face life imprisonment if convicted.

Maltseva said Odintsov owed Zheleznov $250,000 for a loan he took out to finance his car parts business. The debt is the primary motive for the murder, she said. “When he took the loan, he started spending the money wildly, buying an expensive new car,” Maltseva said. “It was as if he never planned to repay the money.” The four suspects are close friends who hunted and fished together, Maltseva said.

It was unclear if the private detective eventually uncovered any evidence of infidelity, Maltseva said.

Housewife Awakes To Naked Stranger In Her Bed

May 15th, 2008 by The Babe

If you can get your husband to believe this tale…. you have my endless admiration.

bikerdog3.jpg

A Malaysian woman woke in the night to find that a naked man (not her husband) had slipped into her bed.

Apparently the 36 year old housewife was asleep when the supposed thief entered her home and noticed her husband sleeping on the couch. Now the thief obviously had some time on his hands so he decided just to strip down and slip into the sack with our pretty housewife.

It seems, the housewife became suspicious when she spoke to him and his voice sounded strange. I’m guessing she hadn’t noticed anything else that was a little “different” from her hubby.

She then went to another room and found her husband fast asleep on the couch. That’s when she screamed, causing the thief to flee by leaping out the window together with the stolen items.

I wonder if he had time to get his clothes?

Cheating Wife Faces Years In Prison

May 3rd, 2008 by The Babe

cheaters1.jpgIn late 2006, Darrell Roberson came home from a late-night card game to find his scantily clad wife with another man in a pickup truck in the driveway. Tracy Roberson was with her lover but cried rape, and her husband fired four shots into the truck as Devin LaSalle drove off, killing him.

Darrell Roberson initially was arrested, but a murder charge was later dropped and a grand jury indicted the [tag]cheating wife[tag], Tracy Roberson instead.

During her three-day trial, defense attorneys called no witnesses but blamed LaSalle’s death on Darrell Roberson’s jealousy and rage.

But prosecutors placed all the blame on Tracy Roberson, showing evidence of the affair with LaSalle, 32, and a text message in which she invited him to her house that evening.

Ms. Roberson was convicted of ibvoluntary manslaughter and faces two to 20 years in prison.

Are You To Blame If Your Husband Cheats

January 22nd, 2008 by The Babe

Husbands have been cheating on their [/tag]wives[/tag] since we walked out of the plains of Africa on two legs. Some would say this is a “fact of nature”.Wife revenges herself for her cheating husband

It appears that Dr. Laura Schlessinger believes that wives are somewhat to blame for their husbands infidelity.

Dr. Laura … “When the wife does not focus in on the needs and the feelings, sexually, personally, to make him feel like a man, to make him feel like a success, to make him feel like her hero, he’s very susceptible to the charm of some other woman making him feel what he needs

Defense attorneys seem to have incorporated the “blame defense” into our legal system. “I did it because…. so it’s not my fault”.

I’m not really all that sure that it matters that anyone is to “blame”. Whether it’s a cheating wife or cheating husband, Dr. Laura’s comment is starting to sound like our society seems to spend most of it’s time blaming someone or something else for their actions. I can however, imagine Dr. Laura’s husband cheating on her…..

Political Sex Scandals We Love

January 16th, 2008 by The Babe

peekkitty.jpgIs there anyone who doesn’t love to watch the powerful fall from grace? Political sex scandals seem particularly exciting when the culprit appears to be hypocritical — an especially anti-gay politician involved in gay sex; a racist politician carrying on an affair with an African-American woman; or, in the case of Eliot Spitzer, an aggressive prosecutor of corruption and immorality, including prostitution rings, caught up in the very same.

Our politicians can often take these affairs to new levels. Sometimes it seems that when politicians hold news conferences, it’s to announce an illicit affair. Here’s a few of my favorite sex scandals:

  • A Revolutionary War-time newspaper articles rumored George Washington had extramarital affairs.

  • Thomas Jefferson was accused of having sex with both his wife’s half-sister and his slave.

  • Alexander Hamilton publicly confessed to an extramarital affair.

  • President Bill Clinton’s affair with his intern Monica Lewinsky. The scandal almost threw Bill Clinton out of the White House. Bill Clinton who told Dan Rather he cheated with Monica Lewinsky “just because he could.”

  • The Governor of New York State, Eliot Spitzer, was forced to step down after his involvement in a prostitution scandal.

  • Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was charged with perjury in a sexual scandal investigation. Kilpatrick was elected as Detroit Mayor at the age 31. He was the youngest mayor in the United States, and was once considered as a promising political star of the Democratic Party.

  • Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey who resigned because he cheated on his wife with a male employee who threatened to expose their same-sex affair.

  • Democratic hopeful in 1988, Gary Hart, famously withdrew from the race after being caught in the Donna Rice “Monkey Business” sex scandal

  • Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva made a public apology over his use of taxpayers-funded phone to send about 200 dirty text messages to an erotic dancer Johanna Tukiainen and her sister, as well as his “special relationship” with the Tukiainen sisters.

  • In France, Prime Minister François Mitterrand’s mistress stood next to his wife at his funeral.

  • The Profumo affair developed after Profumo had a brief relationship with a showgirl named Christine Keeler, who was also the mistress of a known Russian spy, and then lied in the House of Commons when he was questioned about it. The scandal forced Profumo to resign and severely damaged the reputation of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan’s government.

Cheating? Delete Those Emails

August 23rd, 2007 by The Babe

One in nine adults are caught cheating on their partners because they fail to delete double-crossing emails and text messages. The finding comes from a new poll of 2,000 adults by moneysupermarket.com that found that emails and texts are the modern equivalent for the lipstick on the collar that once confirmed a wife’s suspicion that her hubby was playing the field

Computers and mobile phones, the survey reveals, are the new “smoking guns” in relationship breakdowns.

And, some wronged partners don’t even need to go looking for evidence, for four percent of those caught out accidentally forwarded a message from their lover to their partner.

There is a difference when it comes to the ages as well.

People in their 50s are more likely to be caught out with a text or email, than 18 to 24-year-olds who are more likely to clear their inboxes regularly, thus destroying the evidence.

“People seem to forget their internet and mobile phone can become a library of undercover love,” The Sun quoted a spokesman, as saying.
